A decree has been issued amending some provisions of Law No.8 of 1984 in regard to corporate law to reduce cost of setting up new businesses. The amendment eliminates the minimum capital requirement of AED 150,000 (for LLC’s in the UAE) and AED 300,000 (in Dubai); thereby allowing partners to decide the capital requirement to achieve their purposes and reducing the time for establishing new companies.
